It’s that time again! This year’s St. Demetrios Greek festival will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 28-30.

YAL has been asked to run the hot dog and hamburger stand again this year. We are looking for volunteers to help man the booth. You can sign up for as little as an hour. Please contact Emily Liadakis to sign up.

The YAL would like to extend our blessings and best wishes to Father Stephen and Presbytera Athena, as they begin their journey in their new parish in Winchester, VA.  Thank you Father Stephen for your spiritual guidance and wisdom over the past two years.  We will miss you!!

Join us as we host Rev. Demetrios Demopulos, Ph.D., at our first retreat, “Growing Spiritually: Not Just on Sundays.”

The retreat will center around the issue of fitting God into our science based world. The retreat will be held Saturday June 30, 2007, 9am to 4pm at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are appreciated. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please see the attached PDF for more information.
